Desi Gay Couple Photo Shoot in Support LGBT

As part of a new campaign to promote the right to love, a Indian gay couple decided to celebrate their relationship in a unique and candid photo shoot.
As we all know, homosexuality remains illegal in India under a controversial colonial-era law. UrbanClap Co-founder Abhiraj Bhal said, “We at UrbanClap are a simple bunch of people. We believe that everyone should have the right to love whoever they want to as it’s the most basic human right.”

Bengaluru couple Vaibhav and Sukanth met on social networking site, and have been together for five years. They have both come out to their friends and family, and say they have a “great support structure”. The two saw the gay couple photo shoot as a fun opportunity to celebrate their relationship
Yet, same-sex relationships remain socially taboo for many, and Vaibhav and Sukanth were also the only couple in the campaign who chose to display their photographs publicly.

DGD Blog News

Hi DGD Fans,

As you all are aware that Google announced "Blogger policy change" which I took to all your notice dated March 3rd post Blogger Content Policy Update which blocks adult content with effect from March 23rd, 2015.

Good news is Google did a U-turn. It rolled back its policy change announcement due to plenty of feedback against its move to block adult images & videos on blogger. For more information click the link An update on the Blogger porn content policy

We blog authors, admin and few members of this blog, came up with lots of solutions, suggestions & ideas pre and post roll back of Google policy update on Nudity. Below are the final decisions and minutes of that discussion -

Though Google reversed it policy update, we have come up with below actions to be on safer side.
  1. Have moved all content (archives) from blogger to Nibblebit. As Google may again come up with new policy and block our blog without prior notice.
  2. We will continue posting in desi gay desires blog. with Adult content.
  3. Nibblenet blog will just be an archive blog without any activity. Only if Google blocks our blog, we will start posting in Nibblebit.
  4. We also started new blog Desi Mard, which will starts from April 1,2015. It will not have nudity and adult content, this new blog will embrace the sexy and hot desi men without nudity.

Blogger Content Policy Update

Hi DGD Fans,

Few days back I received email from "Google Blogger".
Below details & screen capture  are for your information:

Dear Blogger User,

We're writing to tell you about an upcoming change to the Blogger Content Policy that may affect your account.

In the coming weeks, we'll no longer allow blogs that contain sexually explicit or graphic nude images or video. We'll still allow nudity presented in artistic, educational, documentary or scientific contexts, or where there are other substantial benefits to the public from not taking action on the content.

The new policy will take effect on 23 March 2015. After this policy comes into force, Google will restrict access to any blog identified as being in violation of our revised policy. No content will be deleted, but only blog authors and those with whom they have expressly shared the blog will be able to see the content that we've made private.

Our records indicate that your account may be affected by this policy change. Please refrain from creating new content that would violate this policy. We would also ask you to make any necessary changes to your existing blog to comply as soon as possible so that you won't experience any interruptions in service. You may also choose to create an archive of your content via Google Takeout.

For more information, please look here (https://support.google.com/blogger?p=policy_update).

Yours sincerely,
The Blogger Team

Mr. Gay India 2014

Sushant Divgikar is Mr. Gay India 2014

Sushant Divigikar is no stranger to the limelight. We already know him as an anchor for UTV Bindass and a reputed singer and vocalist in Mumbai.
We, here at Mr. Gay India, are pleased to announce that Sushant will be India’s sixth delegate to Mr. Gay World 2014 which is to be held at Rome in the last week of August this year. For more details look here.
Divgikar’s contribution to the LGBTI cause in India has been significant, and he has done his part in hosting and singing at several LGBTI functions such as the KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival 2014 and Gaysi events. Equipped with a Masters in Psychology, he spends a lot of his free time counselling and mentoring young adults struggling with issues relating to sexual orientation and gender identity.

What makes Sushant unique is his commitment to represent India at Mr. Gay World despite the Supreme Court’s recent recriminalization of Section 377.
His bravery already makes him a winner in our eyes.

BQFF - 2014

Bangalore has hosted film festivals on themes related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT or Queer) communities since 2003, BQFF is an annual event that carefully selects queer films from all over the world and brings them to an ever-growing Bangalore audience. The festival will serve as a space for LGBT concerns to be voiced through the medium of moving images as well as an important platform for screening new Indian and South Indian movies. More than just a film festival, we are a hub of queer arts and culture with an art exhibitions, photo exhibitions and performances. In the last five years, BQFF has grown exponentially—we are now an entrenched fixture in Bangalore’s yearly cultural calendar. Our films try to push boundaries of understanding and we rigourously explore the mental, emotional and physical lives of those who stand outside the sexual norm. At BQFF, we are firmly interested in both straightforward LGBT films and wildly queer and radical films.

In February 2014 the Bangalore Queer Film Festival (BQFF) will enter its sixth year. BQFF is an annual event full of queer films from the world over, photo exhibitions, art exhibitions, performances and panel discussions.
Over the years, BQFF has become an entrenched part of the cultural landscape of Bangalore. The festival serves as a space for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) concerns to be voiced through the medium of moving image. At BQFF, we are firmly interested in both straightforward LGBT films and wildly queer and radical films.
